The TEKU library as seen today is very different from the humble beginning of the library of MOTHECO in 1969 which has grown into a huge building of two storey building and a collection of 22,000 volumes serving the University. The present library building became in use since March 2010.
The library is the heart of any academic institution. TEKU Library strives to make its library as "user-friendly" and efficient as possible. An initial orientation tour is conducted for all new students and staff. The library collection is approximately 22,000 volumes and several current periodical subscriptions that make this library to be the best place to get all your needs in order to acquire the best knowledge.
TEKU LIBRARY MISSION
Our Mission is to contribute towards the main mission of TEKU so as to support the teaching, research, and consultancy and community services of the University by the provision of print and other Electronic resources. Hence, the mission is to make all library resources and other technological services available to students, academic staff and non-academic staff. Further more, to act as storage of knowledge and information resources of the University and its entire community.
To be a centre of excellence by providing information sources to all its members and to keep abreast with the latest news and information in the world of library and information technology and provision.
It is offered for prescribed and recommended printed materials including books and journal of different disciplines that are intended to be read by users through limited borrowing period of 2 hours for special reserve services and 2 weeks borrowing period from book stack which are renewable
It contains books, bibliographic references and journal that are available electronically covering Social science, Science, Education, Philosophy, Psychology and Theology. All these materials are ready for use through library computers

Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Social Psychology, Sociology,
Electronic Catalogue is an online database of all the resources held in the library. It provides access to online public access catalogue that offers access to a wide range of all printed materials that are found in library.
